I love Wisconsin.

It’s always been my home. From our public lands to our lakes, rivers, and streams, nothing can compare to the beauty and traditions of our great state.  Since 2013, I’ve represented Portage County in the State Assembly, championing more opportunities for Central Wisconsin families.

I’m running for re-election to continue my work fighting for clean water, investing in our roads and bridges, ensuring everyone has access to the best public schools, technical colleges, and universities, and supporting good-paying, family-supporting jobs. I’m proud of Central Wisconsin. When it snows 30 inches in April, neighbors help neighbors dig out from the snowstorm — and the next week, we grill brats together. I’m inspired by the people who make our community strong, from our teachers and farmers to manufacturers and nonprofit leaders. And you can’t beat the Central Wisconsin Craft Collective, the local food movement, or the Green Circle Trail.

We’re lucky to live in such an amazing community. I want to build on our successes. It’s simple — the next generation should have the same opportunities as their parents and grandparents had. If you work hard, you should get ahead. Period. State government should help the average citizen by leveling the playing field. We all believe in fairness, opportunity, and community. I’m running to be your voice in the State Capitol, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to represent you. Thank you!
